João Magalhães Ramalho

He practices Tax Law with over 30 years of experience advising national and international clients on tax matters, with special focus on M&A, Real Estate, and Private Clients. He has regularly followed the Brazilian market since 2009.

He joined Barros Sobral, Xavier, G. Gomes & Associados in 1992, advising Prof. Dr. Alberto Xavier. From 1995 to 1999, he was Senior Consultant in Arthur Andersen’s Tax Consulting Department (now Deloitte). In 1999, he joined PLMJ, remaining until 2019 as Partner and head of the Tax Department and Brazilian Desk. From 2019 to 2023, he was Partner in TELLES’ Tax Department.
